To take advantage of third-party shop drawings review, the specific subcontractor contracts with LCI directly. LCI reviews the shop drawings and calculations for compliance with the specific standard and works with the system designer to revise or complement the documents as needed. LCI certifies the corrected shop drawings and submits them to DCRA, which then approves them based on LCI’s certification and issues them to the contractor.
